Mary

Mary has recently been orphaned along with her 3 siblings. Her mother tragically died from AIDs and TB. Chayah is her temporary safe haven and home until further notice from our social worker. We will gladly love and care for her as long as she is ours. 2 1/2 year-old Mary has attached herself to 8 year-old Regina who has returned the affection. Regina comes home from school each day and escorts Mary out for bathing and dresses her up in her own night dress. Janet reports that they are often seen sitting together as Regina “reads” books to her and points out pictures. When meals come, Regina makes sure Mary has a plate full and plops herself right next to the toddler. Both girls, 6 years apart share the loss of their mothers and at a very early age. Tender-hearted Regina has been the youngest girl for 4 years, has finally become a big sister and little Mary has found a new best friend. Praise God that Mary is HIV negative!

Praise God! Mary's Village is full!

That means that we have enough people supporting Mary each month. Please consider supporting one of our other amazing children!
