Nusula is 11 and came to Chayah after being sold as a house maid, then sent to live with an abusive Aunt during the Covid lock-down. Things were so bad that she ran away to live in a garden where neighbors called authorities and she was rescued. She has recovered from Typhoid and has found peace and kindness at Chayah. She fits right in, loves her own bed, clothing and lots of sisters. She is beginning her education and has lots to catch up on. Nusula’s childhood ended at age 10 when she was sent away to work. God has redeemed that childhood and she is finding hope again.
